09:00 Breakfast at Hafren Forest Hideaway.
09:50: Welcome chat by Jim, including a safety briefing and general housekeeping for the day.
10:00 Jim leads a 3-hour local foraging walk, focusing on seasonal species. Some elements for the evening meal will be picked during this walk.
13:00 'Wild Picnic' lunch prepared by Jim.
14:00 to 16:00 Basket topping up session for key dinner ingredients. This can also be used as downtime if needed.
16:00 Wild butchery session, approximately 1 hour long. The focus will likely be on pigeons, but if available, it could involve rabbits, deer, or similar animals. However, if all our guests on the retreat are Vegetarians or Vegans will not offer this session.
17:00 Downtime for showers, naps, etc. Jim will use this time to prepare elements of dinner, and guests can also join in if they wish.
19:00 Wild cocktails and drinks.
20:00 'Foraged Feast' for dinner, with some elements prepared by the group members and others prepared by Jim.
